On the evening of February 21st we were
delighted to be asked to host representatives from CWM-member churches who made a Community of Women and Men in
Mission team visit to Wales from 19 February
to 12 March. CWM launched
the Community of Women and Men in Mission (CWMM) in 1992 as an important aspect of CWM
policy. The emphasis is on partnership between women and men and the group was on a fact
finding tour to see what the situation is here in Wales with regard to this issue. After a meal, they shared in our
service of Healing and Wholeness, a communion service with the opportunity to ask for
prayers for healing and wholeness for yourself or others, which was held that night. Over refreshments after the service there was a
chance for those who had come to talk to our guests about their visit.
Our visitors came from many different parts of the
world and are pictured here with our Minister, Rev Robert Bebb, and the Revs Catrin and
Ifan Roberts who joined us for the occasion. |
